Another day and 50 miles down the Erie Canal to Lockport, NY. Most of the day was nice easy going, both banks were landscaped giving us a view of what is beyond; farmlands and orchards. The one thing lacking that we were in need of was fuel. It's been three days since we've seen a place to fuel up and we were getting close to the discomfort level. The place that was supposed to have fuel, quit selling diesel 2 years ago. So much for up-to-date travel guides. By this time the entire NY Canal Corperation knew we were looking for fuel and was ready to help out where possible. Good people. They helped us decide to go farther than planned and we did buy a can at the local Lockport hardware and diesel at a local gas station.Because of this we ended up in Lockport, NY. Lucky us! What a place, but I'll let the pic's tell the story.
